This has been a busy month to say the least!
To start it off, we had our beautiful baby girl on April 30th; It was a wonderful
and much anticipated day! We're so grateful that she actually made it to 39 weeks.
I was feeling far overdue, but even though it was hard for me
(also hard on her, Ethan and MOSTLY Jordan)
she is here safe and happy. We will not be doing that again though!
Our Anniversary is May 1st, so that was obviously spent in the hospital,
but we had sent Ethan up to Jordan's parents the few days before I was induced.
We celebrated on Saturday with a fun day going out to eat, seeing a matinee
and shopping... Well pretty much looking around at what I want to buy once
I am a normal size human being again!
I can't believe it's been 2 years and am so lucky that I married the most
amazing man! I also can't believe that our only two fights were about
him needing to be more selfish and to go snowboarding more often...
He's my best friend and I am so excited for more adventures to come :)
One Week after we had been home, little lady got a high fever.
I took her in and we ended up staying there for six days; Not the expected
experience to have with a newborn, but we are so grateful for her
great physician and the wonderful staff that were so helpful. We are also
indebted to our ward who cleaned our house, went grocery shopping and helped
with Ethan until Jordan's sister could come and get him.
A big thanks to the Swindlehurst family and people in Beaver who took care of him.
Also, thank you my family for dealing with my emotions while I was
a complete wreck; basket case and insane may be better terms!
This Weekend all of my siblings will be in one town, YAY! Ryan, his wife
Heather and their son Luke will be visiting from Pennsylvania! Jodi will be
coming from Texas and I cannot wait! Good thing it's already Wednesday :)
We are blessing Luke and Aimlee on the same day!
Introducing...
Aimlee Ann Swindlehurst
Weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz, 19.5 inches tall
We were a little concerned about the size of her lips at first!
They were just swollen.
Proud dad and big brother!
Ethan loves her lots and is very protective.
Definitely Ethan's sister... he still sleeps like this.
Our not so fun night back to the hospital.
I was hoping they were going to tell me I'm a paranoid
new mom and send me home with some tylenol.
That however was not the case...
Mothers Day! Jordan's parents brought Ethan down for
us to see him and so they could see Aimlee!
Grandma Bonnie :)
We're still on some precautions, but she is home and healthy!
We love her so much and she fits right in.
Welcome to the world Aimlee; I pray that we can teach you
everything you need to know and give you everything and anything
that you may need. You are so beautiful!
